I lived in Camberwell for a year and was always curious where the Old Well of Camberwell was. Someone said it might be in Camberwell Grove Park, but Google Map shows it to be in Lucas Garden along Peckham Road. It could be really difficult to find the exact location of the old well, but it must be fun to look for a well that does not exist. The text above is what I was thinking of when I painted this picture.
