When it comes to the cause of climate change, we always remind of vehicle exhaust, the unlimited use of natural gas and … However, according the data from the web Our World in data 2021, I surprisingly found that food production is responsible for 1/4 of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions. Moreover, the chart shows the carbon emission caused by Meat-based food makes up the largest part of the total amounts and beef ranks the top of the chart.

My main focus is to illustrate the connection between the “high carbon emission” daily life style and the consequence of a series of climate hazards in order to arouse everyone's attention to protect environment.
